The Pelican Caravan Park & Cabins is a small family owned and operated business located in the main street of Winton in Western Queensland. Winton is well known for its award winning Waltzing Matilda Centre, Boulder Opal, links to Qantas and of course The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum.
The lessor known aspect of Winton is its incredible atmosphere, which once experienced, keeps people coming back time and time again.
The owners Stephen and Narelle Lenton are born and bred "Wintonites" with a history that includes motor mechanics (Stephen's parents owned Central Motors and is still run by the Lenton's today) and Opal Mining (Narelle's parents were on the opal fields back in the 1960's and her brothers still mine today). It is this history and strong links to family that Stephen and Narelle hope to epitomise in their Caravan Park.
